Jennifer Cahill, Owner & Lead Designer

That’s me above, at one of my favorite wedding moments, delivering the bouquets to the beautiful bride. Happy tears and hugs always welcome!

How did I get here? Firstly, I’m an artist. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University (‘95) and I’ve worked in art and design ever since. I’m also a full-fledged romantic who grew up in the garden, learning from my mom and passing that knowledge on to my own daughter. I clearly remember being very young and gathering tiny blooms from weeds in the lawn and the woods surrounding my house into miniature bouquets. Flowers have always spoken to me; the colors, the shapes & textures, the fragrance! They have such a magical way of making the ordinary extraordinary.

There’s also something about wedding celebrations that really inspires me. The idea of two people joining themselves together as one and bravely declaring that commitment in front of the most important people in their lives; it gives goosebumps! Even in this fragmented and isolated modern society we single this day out to celebrate the couple with feasts, singing & dancing, toasts, prayers and so much love.

I started The Tangled Web in 2000 because it was the perfect way to combine my appreciation of creativity, beauty, flowers and ancient rituals. I’ve enjoyed working with so many different couples over the years, creating an atmosphere unique to each of them and helping to make their vision a reality. I’ve made some great friends in the industry and forged many wonderful working relationships. I still can’t get over how lucky we are to live, work and create here in beautiful New England.

The excitement hasn’t worn off and I can’t wait to deliver your flowers!

The garden is where I started this journey a long time ago as a kid. I’m as passionate about growing plants and flowers as I am about designing with them.

This is an amazing source for unique and fragile flowers that are hard to find in the market and we grow something new and different every year!

I can’t fail to mention the invaluable help I get from my chickens (fertilizing and insect control) and my dog Cybil aka Cyb aka Cybbie Dibble (she keeps me company and loves sunbathing while I work!)
